1. Core Architecture & Local Storage

QuoteSweep is engineered for independent commercial insurance brokers. Your carrier portal login credentials (usernames, passwords, and 2FA tokens) are never intercepted, transmitted, or stored on our servers. You log in to carrier portals directly within your own Chrome browser session.

2. Risk Profile & Application Data

When you enter commercial risk information (e.g. business name, FEIN, building square footage, and payroll), this data is securely transmitted over TLS 1.3 to our encrypted Neon serverless PostgreSQL database to allow synchronization across your agency teammates and devices.

3. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requests permissions strictly necessary to execute pre-fill automation:

• activeTab & scripting: To inspect and populate form input fields on approved carrier portal domains.
• storage: To maintain your authenticated broker session locally.
• sidePanel: To present the QuoteSweep cockpit alongside your active carrier portal tab.

4. Data Deletion & Export

You retain 100% ownership of your risk profiles and comparative quotes. You can export or request complete deletion of your account and all associated submissions at any time by contacting support@quotesweep.com.
